NEON TRUCKERS TO PERFORM
Neon Truckers, featuring 2009 Cooter Idol winner Ricky Mitchell, will perform live Saturday, October 30 at the Great American Cooter Festival.
Mitchell and his bandmates will perfom on the main stage at Liberty Park from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, and then return for an encore at 5 pm to close out the festival for the day. Neon Truckers has been in high gear since playing before a crowd of thousands at the City's July 3 Patriotic Evening.
Following the concert, the band made a stop at The Grove Downtown.
Neon Truckers features a country and southern rock sound that is sure to strike a chord with festival goers at this year's Cooter Festival.
BAND BIO
Neon Truckers was formed in the fall 2009 in Umatilla, Fla. Band members are from all over the country, including Kansas, Texas, Tennessee and Florida. Band members are Ricky Mitchell, lead singer/songwriter; Richard Land, bass guitarist/songwriter and composer; Jaime Lasko Jr., lead guitar/singer and composer; Braxton Bisceglia, drummer/percussionist/songwriter and composer; Braxton Bisceglia II, rhythm guitarist/songwriter and composer; and Clyde Peterson, steel guitar/songwriter and composer.
Neon Truckers can be found playing in local bars and venues as well as private parties, and are making a name for themselves in the Central Florida area. The lineup brings energy and arrangements to the world of country and southern rock, making new memories for the audience out of each live performance. It is always fun to watch as people are swept up by the show's vitality with a mix of originals and cover songs.
